North Gwinnett Arts Association invites all artists to apply for the upcoming 2019 Summer Juried Exhibit, #summerdreaming . . .
This exhibition features summer themed pieces created by artists working in a wide variety of media from all over Suwanee and surrounding areas. Open to all artists. Only original artwork will be accepted, no giclee or crafts. Categories are sculpture (including pottery, glass, and woodwork), painting (including oil, acrylic, collage, watercolor and mixed media), and photography.
All artwork must be original and not previously exhibited at NGAA. Craftsmanship and presentation of artwork will be criteria for acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse any submitted work which is deemed inappropriate, offensive, or improperly presented.
CATEGORIES & SPECIFICATIONS:
Painting- including oil, acrylic, collage, watercolor, & mixed media
Sculpture - including pottery, glass, and woodwork
Photography - All photographic mediums will be accepted (traditional, digital, and alternative) photographs must be originals executed and altered by the photographer only
2D artwork and photography maximum size: 48" W x 48" H, must be framed or at least 1 1/2" deep gallery wrapped with painted edges or if photography, the image should extend around the edges, metal prints are allowed
All pieces must be ready to install with backs of paintings/photos wired, no saw tooth hangers
Artwork must be for sale. NGAA retains 30% commission of all works sold during the exhibition
All accepted artwork must be hand delivered to NGAA Art Gallery with legible identification label affixed with artist name, title, and price
Non-refundable entry fee entitles artist to submit 3 pieces: (you may enter more than one category)

INSURANCE AND LIABILITY: Each artist is responsible for insuring his or her own work. While all care will be taken while artwork is being exhibited in the NGAA Art Gallery, NGAA and its members or anyone working on the exhibition, assumes no responsibility for any damage to artwork during delivery, installation and de-installation. NGAA will not be liable for artwork not claimed after specified pick-up dates and time.
PUBLICITY: Images of works may be used for NGAA marketing and publicity purposes
